This course explores the necessary factors that lead to the successful growth and development of children.

A child’s success in adult life is significantly impacted by the conditions of their childhood: whether they received proper nutrition, care, and stimulation or not. Millions of children are born into poverty, which stunts both their physical and mental growth. To break the cycles of inequality and poverty, we must look to childhood development and create programs for children that reflect their needs and seek to help them be successful.

This course provides answers to the problem of adequate childcare, presenting perspectives from the fields of neuroscience, sociology, anthropology and others.
