Climate.now

Opleidingen & Trainingen

Welcome to learn about climate change
Climate.now is a module for learning and teaching the basics of climate change. The scope of the course is 2 ECTS and it is fully self-study and accessible.
Climate change is a multidimensional topic with a number of cross-disciplinary challenges. The content and learning outcomes of the Climate.now are based on the understanding of

climate change as a scientific phenomenon
how it can be prevented (mitigation), and
how adaptation is possible.
The climate challenge will not be resolved in silos; it calls for multidisciplinary interaction between different people and areas of expertise. For this reason, this material has also been created in cross-disciplinary scientific and artistic collaboration. Climate change does indeed challenge us to reflect on our attitude to climate change and the part we play in it ourselves. What kind of interaction and learning is needed so that we could work together to find solutions?

In this video we interview students from Scotland, Russia, Poland, Brazil and the USA. They discuss the following questions:

– How is climate change present in your field of study?
– What type of solutions for climate change can be developed in your field of study?
– How is climate change affecting your future?
– How do you feel about the current situation we are in?
